The game expanded upon the original release by introducing new cities, vehicles, and music tracks while retaining its high-octane gameplay. Using built-in cheat codes and unlocking special vehicles allows players to fully customize their experience and explore everything the game has to offer.
How to Enter Cheat Codes on PS2
Entering cheat codes in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix is a simple process done through the game's options menu. Players must navigate to the cheat menu and carefully input the designated phrase using the on-screen keyboard. Once entered correctly, a confirmation message will verify that the cheat effect is active.
For retro gaming enthusiasts looking for retro updates and guides, checking daily gaming news provides helpful insights into classic console titles. These built-in codes do not disable save files, making them ideal for casual playthroughs or sandbox fun.
Essential Cheat Codes for Gameplay Modifications
Several popular cheat codes grant special abilities or unlock game locations instantly. Entering "roadtrip" immediately unlocks all cities in arcade mode, allowing players to explore San Diego, Atlanta, Detroit, and Tokyo. To eliminate vehicle damage entirely during chaotic street races, players can enter the code "ontheroad".
Special vehicle moves can also be triggered via cheats for specific car classes. Inputting "dfens" unlocks the Agro special move, while "allin" activates the Zone ability. Drivers who want to unleash the Roar power-up on opponents can enter "R04r" into the cheat menu.
Visual and Fun Character Cheats
Beyond gameplay advantages, Rockstar Games included several cosmetic cheats that modify driver appearances. Codes like "getheadj" transform the rider's head into a yellow smiley face, while "getheadk" replaces it with a pumpkin head. Players can also try "trythisathome" to give their rider a flaming head effect during races.
For a unique visual overhaul on vehicles, entering "haveyouseenthisboy" grants a full chrome body finish. Additionally, players looking to tweak city activity can use "urbansprawl" to make pedestrians walk significantly faster around the map.
Unlocking Special Vehicles and Accessories
While cheat codes offer instant gratification, many high-performance vehicles and customization options require completing specific career events. Winning city tournaments and beating specific street racing club rivals unlocks exotic cars like the Lamborghini Murcielago and Cadillac Cien.
Collecting hidden Rockstar Games logos hidden around the cities also grants exclusive rewards. Finding all hidden collectibles rewards dedicated players with unique license plates and specialized rider characters, offering plenty of incentives to explore every corner of the game world.
